Few days in life feel as special as your wedding day, and it’s worth holding onto every part of it. Invitations are one of the most beautiful ways to do just that. Your wedding invitations are the first glimpse your guests get of your day, and they’re also something you can treasure for years to come. That’s why every couple we design custom invitations for receives an heirloom keepsake suite. Today we’re sharing what’s inside a keepsake suite, how to use it for stunning detail shots on your wedding day, and why it’s a piece you’ll treasure for years to come.
What’s in a Keepsake Suite
You may have seen on our website that we offer “a keepsake suite” for our custom couples. Let’s talk about what that really means.
A keepsake suite, simply put, is your full invitation suite with all the bells and whistles.
Think silk ribbon, vintage postage, and elegant calligraphy–every beautiful detail from your design (and then some).
We don’t just send your keepsake suite in an envelope like the rest of your invitations. Rather, we hand-package everything in a foil-pressed linen keepsake box. Here’s a peek at what that looks like:

Made for Your Wedding Day Detail Shots
On the morning of your wedding, your photographer will likely style detail shots of all your, well…details!
Details shots often include:
- Rings (and maybe a ring box)
- Shoes
- Perfume/cologne
- Cufflinks
- Jewelry
- Loose florals
- Invitations
These types of photos are a lovely way to remember the special details that helped make your day. Your invitations are, of course, one of those details.
Instead of scrambling to gather all your invitation cards the week before your wedding (you’ve got enough to worry about!), all you have to do is hand off the linen box to your photographer. Everything will be perfectly packaged, ready to be photographed.
Take a look at a few of our favorite wedding day detail shots taken of our couples’ keepsake suites:

Each keepsake suite envelope is addressed in elegant calligraphy. You may choose to use your address or the address of your venue. We find that many of our couples opt for their venue address as an extra reminder of their special day.

You’ll receive your keepsake suite close to your wedding date. It includes all of your invitation cards as well as the extra embellishments, in pristine condition for beautiful photos.

A Keepsake Long After the Day
Long after your wedding day, we guarantee your keepsake box won’t get shoved into a drawer and forgotten. Instead, it’ll sit out somewhere you’ll see it often, holding the very invitation that first introduced your wedding to your loved ones. And years from now, when you open it up, it will take you right back to where it all began.
That’s what we mean by lasting memories.
Your invitation was the first glimpse of your wedding day, and your keepsake suite makes sure it stays with you long after the day is done.
