There is something instantly inviting about a wedding at the Joseph Ambler Inn in North Wales, PA. Its stone buildings, quiet pathways, and natural charm make it an unforgettable setting. Leah and Chris chose the inn for its warmth and history, and it suited their style perfectly. They first connected with us through their planner, Steph of Baker Event Co.. It was a pleasure collaborating with Steph, Leah, and Chris to bring their vision to life with care and intention. Today, we’re excited to share their beautiful wedding with you.

A Traditional Vision for a Joseph Ambler Inn Wedding

When we first sat down to discuss invitations, Leah and Chris told us they were envisioning a formal and elegant wedding day. Their color palette included eucalyptus green, forest green, and ivory, with sapphire to bring in a luxurious pop of color. These greens worked beautifully with the venue’s charming landscape; the ivory added a soft, classic balance. Leah and Chris preferred clean and simple design and wanted every detail to feel thoughtful. With this direction, we created save the dates, invitations, and day-of stationery that reflected the atmosphere of their Joseph Ambler Inn wedding.

Formal Wedding Invitations with a Custom Monogram

From the very start, Leah and Chris’s save the dates set the tone for their wedding. We used a custom monogram and stunning sapphire blue envelope to help introduce their formal style. The save the dates helped inform guests of important information, and also prepared them for an incredible event.

When designing the invitation suite, Heather and I carried those same details throughout each card. Their beautiful monogram reappeared on their invitation card and as a statement piece in their envelope liner. This time, instead of envelopes, we used sapphire in the envelope liner and details card. A light green border tied in the greens of their palette. Each of these pops of color added depth and elegance to the suite.

The same script and serif fonts reappeared on the invitations, and later carried through to their wedding day stationery. Finally, as an extra-luxurious touch, we sealed the invitations with silk ribbon and a wax seal. The best detail? Their wax seal also featured their custom monogram! Every single element was fully customized to create their dream invitation suite.

Day-Of Stationery That Tied Everything Together

Leah and Chris’s day-of stationery continued the visual story that began with their invitations. We designed table numbers and tented place cards that matched the suite’s clean, polished look (and helped guests find their seats with ease!). Their reception welcome sign featured their monogram and created a warm first impression as guests entered the space. The guestbook sign and even their thank you notes echoed the look of the suite. These paper pieces added clarity and beauty to their Joseph Ambler Inn wedding, supporting the formal atmosphere they envisioned.

A Charming Reception at the Inn

The reception space at Joseph Ambler Inn brought their palette and style to life. Candlelight, soft greenery, and ivory florals created a warm, inviting atmosphere that paired beautifully with the stationery. The sweetheart table stood out as a romantic focal point, styled with lush blooms and gentle textures that complemented the clean lines of their paper goods. The consistent color palette made every detail feel connected, giving their guests a seamless visual experience from the moment they arrived to the final moments of the evening.
