Mariana and Brandon’s winter wedding at Crane Club at Tesoro was everything they envisioned: “romantic with a party twist”. When Mariana first reached out to us, she had a clear picture in mind for their day. The palette would be light blue, champagne, and white. The dress code would be black tie optional. And for her invitations? Custom watercolor artwork of their venue, featured front and center in the envelope liner. Their Treasure Coast venue, with its grand architecture and waterfront views, deserved that kind of introduction.
Today we’re sharing Mariana and Brandon’s stunning semi-custom invitation suite, along with a look at how their vision came to life on the wedding day itself.

Semi-Custom Wedding Invitations to Set the Tone
From the start, Mariana and Brandon had a vision for their wedding invitations. Their colors were light and airy: light blue, champagne, and white. They were drawn to the look of watercolor venue artwork, and knew that they wanted to incorporate it on the envelope liner.
Honestly, we get it. Just look at their venue!

Though they had a general idea of what they wanted, Mariana told us she wasn’t exactly sure how that would translate to their invitations.
“I had a vision but wasn’t sure how to bring it to life. There are a lot of ways you can go about things with paper, it’s somewhat of a blank slate and I wasn’t sure how overwhelmed I would be with the process.”
Whether you have a clear vision for your invitations or no vision at all, we’ll guide you through the process. That’s the benefit of working with custom stationery designers like Heather and me (Emily). We’ll chat about your wedding aesthetic, your ideas, and what’s most important to you. Then, we’ll make expert design suggestions so your invitations turn out even better than you imagined!
Custom Watercolor Venue Artwork
Mariana and Brandon opted for one of our semi-custom invitation suites, The Kathryn, with custom embellishments. Choosing a semi-custom suite doesn’t mean you can’t make it your own! There are many design embellishments you can include to customize your suite even further.
This was perfect for Mariana and Brandon, who chose to incorporate a watercolor venue envelope liner, a watercolor map card, and custom monogram featuring a crane.
We are obsessed with how it turned out. What do you think?

“We love them and received so many compliments! Our photographer told us the moment he got the invitation that he felt it set the tone for the whole weekend… The details were important to me and I felt we were able to put our own spin on things despite choosing the semi-custom package.”

Mariana & Brandon’s Crane Club at Tesoro Wedding
The invitations gave guests a preview of what was to come, and the wedding day delivered.
Mariana and Brandon got married on one of Crane Club’s outdoor balconies, with blue and white florals framing the ceremony space. After sunset, guests headed inside to the elegant ballroom. Crystal chandeliers hung overhead, and romantic candlelight filled the room. The florals carried the same blue and white palette from the invitations. Gold chairs, patterned linens, and a black and white checkered dance floor brought that “party twist” to life. Keep reading to see how the day unfolded!

How cute are these matchbooks?! Mariana and Brandon licensed the watercolor venue artwork from their invitations so they could also include it on their guest favors.
