We had the pleasure of designing stationery for Rachel and Nick’s summer wedding at Glen Manor House in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. Rachel and Nick have been together for 10 years, and visited Glen Manor House even before saying “I do”. They knew it was the perfect venue for their wedding. In fact, Nick even proposed on the dock, which made their connection to the venue that much more special! Rachel and Nick’s celebration was filled with vibrant colors, Jewish traditions, and joyful moments. We can’t wait to share their beautiful day with you.

Elegant Gold Foil Press Invitations with a Pop of Blue
Even before their wedding day, guests were greeted with an elegant first impression: the invitations. Rachel, Nick, and Rachel’s mother worked with us to design a suite that was classic with personal touches. There were several stunning elements from this suite that we absolutely loved.
Some of those elements included:
- Gold foil press printing
- A silk ribbon and gold wax seal
- A custom line art illustration of their venue in the envelope liner
- Envelopes in a pop of blue
These details tied their stationery directly to the venue and theme, and made each guest’s invitation feel meaningful. The invitations perfectly set the tone for their day.

Here is what Rachel said when she saw her invitation suite:
“We love it!!! Thank you so much for making everything look so beautiful!”
A Charming East Coast Wedding Venue
A summer wedding at Glen Manor House offers the perfect blend of history, elegance, and romance. This waterfront estate in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, feels like a French château with its stone archways and manicured gardens. Like the venue boasts, it feels grand, yet intimate. Both its indoor and outdoors spaces are equally beautiful. Rachel and Nick said “I do” outside by the water, beneath a chuppah adorned with colorful flowers.

Summer Wedding Reception at Glen Manor House
The reception space glowed with the light of crystal chandeliers, gold Chiavari chairs, and colorful floral centerpieces. Arrangements of roses, hydrangeas, and delphinium carried the color palette indoors, adding a pop of color to the classic setting. Soft candlelight created a romantic atmosphere.

We designed tented escort cards to help inform Rachel and Nick’s guests where to sit, as well as to carry their design elements throughout their wedding. When you work with custom stationery designers like Heather and I (Emily), we’ll not only design your invitations, but all of your wedding day paper details!

Rachel and Nick’s summer wedding at Glen Manor House was filled with love and joy. From custom invitations, to colorful flowers, elegant decor, and Jewish traditions, every choice reflected their story.
