Planning a Florida destination wedding is such an exciting journey. For Lyndsay and Matthew, their celebration at the Emerald Grande in Destin, Florida, deserved invitations that perfectly reflected their timeless and coastal vision. Florida held special meaning for them: it’s where they first met! Working with them to bring their love story to life through custom stationery was a true privilege. We worked together to create a design that featured a palette of coastal hues and a custom watercolor illustration of the Emerald Grande’s ceremony deck. This artwork became a defining element of their suite.

The Custom Invitation Design Process

Design Consultation & Mood Board

Lyndsay and Matthew came to us with a clear vision. They wanted a suite that combined timeless elegance with modern charm while reflecting their wedding’s coastal location. During our initial consultation, we listened to their ideas and created a custom mood board to inspire our design.

In addition, we sent Lyndsay and Matthew a curated sample box with ribbon swatches, wax seals, and premium paper options to guide their decisions. We want all our couples to be able to see their invitation suite options in person!

Invitation Suite Design Options

After thoroughly discussing their vision, we presented two distinct invitation suite options:

Lyndsay and Matthew chose Design 2, combining elements from both options to create their final suite. This collaborative revision process ensured their stationery was a perfect reflection of their style and story.

“We truly felt like they listened to what we wanted & gave us thoughtful, creative ideas to personalize our invitations while tying in the theme of our wedding weekend. We decided to have a custom watercolor of our venue on the back of the invitation as well as the back of our RSVP card. It turned out so well!”

The Final Design

The final design included a beautifully crafted five-piece suite that perfectly balanced elegance and functionality. The highlight of the suite was the custom envelope liner, which showcased a watercolor painting of the ceremony deck overlooking the harbor. To add a modern touch, we incorporated a QR code RSVP on the back of the card. We didn’t limit the watercolor artwork to the envelope liner—we carried it onto the back of the RSVP card, too! This helped create a cohesive design that truly captured the spirit of Lyndsay and Matthew’s wedding weekend.

A Stress-Free Invitation Design Process

One of the most rewarding parts of working with Lyndsay and Matthew was providing them with a stress-free experience. From assembling and addressing their invitations to mailing them to their guests, we took care of every detail. We also delivered a keepsake suite for their wedding day photos, so they could remember this special part of their celebration for years to come.

Lyndsay and Matthew’s guests were delighted by the invitations. Many reached out to compliment the beauty and thoughtfulness of the suite. Knowing we were able to help create a meaningful first impression for their Florida destination wedding is why we love what we do.

“We are SO glad we decided to use them & it truly took off such a load from our wedding to-do list. I can’t even imagine having to do all of the invitations on our own! We also received SO many texts & comments about how beautiful & detailed our invites were!”
