Its charm and beautifully manicured gardens provide the perfect setting for a wedding right out of a romance novel. We had the opportunity to collaborate with Mandie of Thistle & Pine Photography to help bring a vintage wedding to life at Linden Place. We can’t wait to show you the inspiration from this day!
The Setting: Linden Place in Bristol, Rhode Island
With its sprawling estate and carefully preserved architectural details, Linden Place set the scene for a wedding that echoed the sophistication and elegance of a bygone era. The mansion’s white facade, black shutters, and stately columns made the perfect backdrop for this styled shoot, transporting us to a time of grand celebrations and refined gatherings.

Custom Blue Wedding Invitations
Your wedding invitations set the tone for the day. For this vintage wedding, we crafted a romantic suite featuring soft blues. We chose delicate floral illustrations for the envelope liners and an elegant script font to reflect the historical setting of Linden Place. Paired with a wax seal and a silk ribbon, each invitation felt like a treasured keepsake.
A Timeless Tablescape for a Vintage Mansion Wedding
The reception tablescape was a true reflection of the vintage aesthetic, thoughtfully designed to complement the historic charm of Linden Place. The table was dressed in a beautiful patterned blue and white linen, evoking a classic yet romantic feel. Delicate floral arrangements of white roses, hydrangeas, and lush greenery set the perfect tone for an intimate reception.
Custom Menus and Place Settings
The table settings were equally exquisite. We created custom menus tied with soft blue silk ribbon to match the overall aesthetic. The menus were printed with delicate script font and detailed the gourmet selections of the evening. The vintage plates and glassware added just the right amount of luxury to the setup, enhancing the sense of timeless sophistication.
Elegant Decor and Details
The tablescape was completed with romantic taper candles in glass candle holders, creating a warm and inviting glow. Lemons and pears were also added to the decor as natural accents. We love how they brought a touch of whimsy and fresh charm to the scene! This old-world elegance combined with modern touches perfectly captured the essence of a vintage mansion wedding.
The Bride’s Whimsical Look
The bride’s gown was the perfect mix of whimsy and vintage romance. Her floral-embroidered dress featured voluminous sleeves and a pearl corset bodice that brought an ethereal touch to the day. Paired with soft waves in her hair, the whole look was so romantic. It seamlessly blended the past and present in perfect vintage style.
